This February, TaskGate.io excitedly joined over 150 of the region’s most dynamic startups at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025 a landmark event that united more than 14,000 founders, investors, and changemakers from 45 countries at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTIP). A Launchpad for Ambition: Startup Town Zone
SEF 2025’s Startup Town Zone, powered by du, was a hub of innovation! Over 150 startup pods, including TaskGate.io, showcased groundbreaking solutions, each pod alive with founders eager to connect, pitch, and learn. The atmosphere was electric: investors, mentors, and industry leaders buzzed from booth to booth, igniting conversations destined to shape tomorrow’s business landscape. For TaskGate.io, it was an incredible opportunity to demonstrate how our all-in-one SaaS platform empowers businesses to streamline operations, manage teams, and accelerate growth. We met entrepreneurs tackling everything from fintech to sustainability and were inspired by the diversity and ambition within the UAE’s startup ecosystem.
Opportunities to Pitch, Partner, and Grow
SEF 2025 was not just about showcasing it was about seizing opportunity! The Investors Lounge, powered by Multiples, hosted over 320 investor meetings, providing startups like ours direct access to potential backers and invaluable feedback. The SEF x 1Tank Pitch Competition raised the stakes, offering AED 200,000 in grants and up to AED 500,000 in potential investment to the most promising ventures.
Throughout the festival, TaskGate.io’s team connected with founders, investors, and ecosystem partners, exchanging insights on digital transformation, scaling strategies, and the future of work. These conversations reaffirmed our commitment to building tools that help businesses thrive in a rapidly evolving market.
A Festival of Inspiration and Learning
SEF 2025 featured more than 300 speakers and over 250 activities across 10 curated zones and five stages, including workshops, masterclasses, and live performances. From keynotes by global visionaries such as H.E. Alia Bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei, Sheikha Hoor bint Sultan Al Qasimi, and even football legend Thierry Henry—to panels on AI, creative industries, and youth empowerment, the festival was a masterclass in what’s possible when ambition meets community.
